The New Hampshire Table Tennis Club (NHTTC) is pleased to announce they have a new table tennis coach, Nik Uhlir. Nik started his table tennis career at the NHTTC when it was located at the Boys and Girls Club in Manchester, NH. Since that time, he has become obsessed with improving his table tennis skills and spreading that same passion and love for the game to others. Because he took weekly lessons at his home with the NH#1 rated player Brad Robbins and then at the Boston Table Tennis Club in Medford, MA he has developed into a strong offensive looping player. Nik then took those newly acquired skills and game strategy to the USATT National Tournament in Las Vegas, where he defeated players rated significantly higher than himself. He now travels to the Westchester Table Tennis Club outside New York City to play in U2000 tournament brackets.
Nik has taken over 200 lessons and has been coaching beginner to intermediate table tennis players for nearly 2 years. His short-term goal is to improve your game, so the game is more fun for you. His long-term goal is to spread the game around and make it as accessible as possible. He has had so much fun learning and playing table tennis, he wants the same for you.
To schedule a lesson with Nik, you can either email or text him. His email is nuhlir@gmail.com and his text is 781-879-2342. You can also contact Bill Swift at william_swift@comcast.net or text at 603-759-9686. Cost for the lesson is $20 for a half hour and $40 for a full hour (cash preferred and Venmo accepted), in addition to the NHTTC weekly player’s fee of $15. Juniors (U18 players) are half price. Try it out. You might learn something.
